Biography

Dr. José Federico Hernández Sánchez was born in Mexico city, where he studied the bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Science in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He obtained his PhD at the University of Twente in the Physics of Fluids group under the supervision of Prof. Jacco Snoeijer. Now he is a Postdoctoral Fellow at KAUST under supervision of Prof. Sigurdur Thoroddsen.

Research Interests

He is interested in fluid mechanics, granular flow and capillarity phenomena.
